Hello! My name is Krista and I am an independent type designer based in Sofia, Bulgaria. I specialise in fonts with Latin, Cyrillic and Greek. My main focus recently is custom type (most of which I can’t show here).

For 5 years I was part of Fontsmith in London. Since the beginning of 2020 I’ve been a freelancer, collaborating with international foundries and design agencies, as well as teaching Cyrillic and working towards setting up my own studio.

I studied BA Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London and MA Type and Media at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. I’ve always had a passion for extremely decorative letterforms, which I am sketching in tiny notebooks 24/7.
